Sara brings over 10 years of experience developing effective programs that serve children and families in California. She holds a Masters degree in Public Administration, specializing in nonprofit management. Before joining Napa County Office of Education Community Programs, Sara worked as a Senior Program Manager at a family foundation. Sara also has experience working in the public sector at the City of San Francisco and the State Legislature. As an AmeriCorps VISTA, Sara began her career by doing what she loves— supporting a tutoring program at Kawana Elementary School. Years later, Sara is delighted to be working with AmeriCorps again. As the Assistant Director, Sara is responsible for the overall administration and management of service programs, including fiscal and human resources, program planning and operations, fiscal management and public relations.
