Casey Wedding has been working in education and youth development since 2006. He started as a peer tutor in statistics and a teacher’s assistant in film criticism at the University of California Irvine, where he graduated with a B.A. in Film and Media and a B.A. in Sociology. He joined the Napa County Office of Education in 2008, working as an Education Liaison for foster and homeless youth, and transitioned to the Safe Routes to School Grant in 2009, where he developed and implemented bicycle safety training programs for elementary, middle, and high school students. He has been working with AmeriCorps and CalSERVES for the past 2 years in his most recent role, coordinating after school programs in Napa at the middle school level.
